2021 Design Forecast - COLOR!

Last week we gave you all a little insight into our 2021 Design Forecast, and today we are excited to give you a little more insight to the upcoming year!

Our second piece of our forecast has to do with one of our personal favorite things. COLOR! We all have seen the monochromatic, farmhouse style homes and schemes everywhere, whether it be on t.v. or social media, it's truly been a popular trend. But get this, we predict a pop of color in everyone's home in 2021. Based off of Pantone's color of the year, (find our take on it on our highlighted Instagram stories here!) we can already tell that this year will be BRIGHT!

If you were anywhere on the ever popular app TikTok last year, you may have seen tons of people painting fun accent walls in their homes due to the boredom of being home more often, and let's just say, we are on 100% on board with this trend! We here at Ashley Moyer Interior Design absolutely LOVE color and what it can do to a space. From pieces of furniture to fun artwork, it’s easy to completely change the feeling of a space in a matter of minutes.

Like seriously, we are OBSESSED with color. On the project above, our client shared our admiration of color so we had quite a bit of fun designing every square inch of this home. Pictured above is the dining room where we incorporated one of our personal favorite colors, green! From the “wild” pattern on the wall, to the green woodwork on the chairs, we love every piece of this room.

But don't worry, we understand that not everyone is a bright, cheery yellow kind of person when it comes to color. Even with subtle shades or warmer shades of color, a space can be completely transformed with a gallon of paint or a statement piece of furniture.
